Hi All,

Can we directly upgrade the OS version from 4.0.7 to 4.1.6. Is there no need to install the base version 4.1.0. My plan is to upload only the software version 4.0.8 up to 4.1.6 then install directly to software 4.1.6.

Thanks,

Jan

I saw some post a few weeks ago regarding some recommendation that you should first go to the 4.1.0 and from there update to for example 4.1.6. But I dont know if this is still valid?

For example if you have 3.0.1 today and wants latest 4.1 then the steps are:

1) Update to 4.1.0 (and reboot of course).

2) Then update to 4.1.6 (and reboot).

Actually, the procedure only requires that the base image be present to do an update. So for example -- to update to 4.1.6, you would only need 4.1.0 downloaded to the PAN so that 4.1.6 could be directly installed.

J
