Palo Alto 10.2 - Import config from Palo Alto 5.0

Hi,

I want to import the configuration from an old Palo Alto device running the software version 5.0 to a new Palo Alto device running the 10.2 version. I am getting some issues because it looks like the XML configuration I am getting from the old device, has a different format for some objects. So I am getting some errors when trying to load config partial. Do you know if there is a conversion tool to use in this case? Thanks.

You could try and build an Expedition software appliance, which is a migration utlilty. you would do it using best effort attempts, with no support from PANW.

May I ask, is this for lab or production use, and why would you be having a configuration from 9 to 10 years ago?
