I need help. I bought a used PA-820 off eBay. Works great!

When I try to set up account on support.paloaltonetworks.com, I enter the serial number and SO.

However, each time, the registration fails. I get an error message telling me to try again later. I tried on different computers and browsers on different days. Always the same result. The registration always fails. So I cannot set up support account. When I call Palo Alto customer service, I get a recording that says I need to register for a support account online and submit a ticket.

So I am stuck and don’t know what to do. Can someone please help?

Hi @TheMike ,

Congrats on your new purchase! In order to get ownership and register it as your own, the previous owner will need to transfer ownership to you. Here is the Secondary Markey Policy.
