topic When logging into the community can I turn off the email a code? in General Topics

Whenever I want to log into the palo alto networks community, it asks to email a code to my email address. Sometimes I think it already did but nothing came, but in reality I never clicked the button to send the email.

Is there a way to turn that off, or maybe do a push notification to Duo instead? This is why I use the r/paloaltonetworks subreddit more often because it's just frictionless.

Thanks!

@ksauer507,

I think this came in when PAN enforced MFA on accounts across the board since it uses the same authentication process. If you go to https://sso.paloaltonetworks.com/enduser/settings you should be able to modify your MFA settings to use Okta Verify or one of the other options.

If your goal is push notifications I think Okta Verify is the only option that is going to work to do that. I personally use a different authenticator so I can't verify that, but I believe that's the only push enabled option that PAN supports for account MFA.
