May I know the process of Palo Alto firewall on-premise get new IPS signature release update? and where the CVE is stored in Palo Alto firewall?

Hi @sam_phas ,

IPS updates are downloaded through dynamic updates to your Threat Prevention license. "New and modified threat signatures and modified App-IDs are released at least weekly and, often, more frequently. New App-IDs are released on the third Tuesday of every month."

You can monitor threats associated with a known CVE through the threat prevention logs (Monitor -> Logs -> Threat). Palo maintains a threat repository that contains information about threats, vulnerabilities, and associated CVEs. Check out the Threat Vault & Security Advisories.
