      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For me, you can't do that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the only thing you need in icmp is ping, ping is an app in palo.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Carefull, allow icmp not allow ping and reverse.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;V.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You could try using the ping command in the following way to alter the size of the ping packets &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PA-500&amp;gt; ping size 65468 source 10.30.6.104 host 4.2.2.2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This does give you the ability to vary the size of the icmp packets.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Although the size has to be between 0-65468.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Aditya&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think it would be great if the PA could have a setting to strip the icmp (echo-request/reply) contents. Today one is forced to do this through proxyfirewall using icmp-proxy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does anyone know if there perhaps already exists a RFE to strip ICMP contents when passing through a PA device (or if this even is theoretically possible by the hardware being used)?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
