PA-7000 Series PANOS-10.1

Hello,

We have a PA-7050 firewall that we are looking to upgrade from 9.1.15 to 10.1.10-h2.

We are following the upgrade path provided by Palo Alto however when we upgrade to the recommended 10.0 release or the 10.1 release the entire firewall configuration is wiped.

We have mentioned this to PA support but they have only provided us with the upgrade path documentation.

Has one had any experience with this or know why PANOS 10 versions are deleting the entire firewall configuration and putting the firewall back into its factory state.

Hi @Owen1 ,

Can you share the upgrade path you went through that resulted in a wiped config? I personally have not gone through an upgraded that wiped the configuration.
