Having customer ID

Hello everyone,

I want to setup a home lab for practicing Paloalto firewalls. Thus, I have to register to support portal and download PAN-OS first, but I Need Customer ID. how I can get it? I have to purchase a device? It is not possible for me.

there's plenty of options out there. several cloud providers (azure, aws, gcp,..) offer 'paygo' and 'byol' options where you can spin up a firewalls at processing cost (if you register a new account they'll usually give you some credit that should suffice to get you a good amount of quality time)

Hi, I mean I want to download PAN-OS to setup a vmware workstation Home Lab. So, I need a customer ID to register in paloalto support page. Would you provide explain clearly how I can do it ?

For a home lab you need actual licenses so you'll need to purchase LAB licenses from a partner in your area, or convince them to give you a 30 day trial license
