&lt;P&gt;based on what you described this looks like a permission issue. Either your account has read-only role or it has a custom role with an admin role attached that has CLI restrictions. Typically if you type "debug" and hit enter you will get invalid syntax error. If you get unknown command error instead, this indicates a permission issue. You will have to talk to your Panorama admin to confirm your account role.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Anyone know why various commands such as "debug" would return "Unknown Command" on the CLI?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is this possibly due to my permissions on Panorama? These commands are relatively common and are even referenced in palo KB articles but they don't seem to work for me &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":confused_face:"&gt;😕&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
