Hi All,

Could I use the Captive Portal, as a way of displaying an Acceptable Use Policy ( AUP ) that users must accept, before gaining

internet access?

To make this as seemless as possible, is it also possible to not have to require the entering of username/password combination, as the user would have already been authenticated by User-ID?

Hi,

Captive portal will only pop up for unknown users, so if the user is authenticated somehow he/she won't be able to see it.

Do you have standardized homepage for user's browsers? If yes you can choose the action for that page as "continue" and customize that page to serve the purpose.

Thanks for that.

This requirement would also include guest, and BYOD systems, so there wouldn't be a default home page as such.
