Hi Everyone,

We see Qumran Switch Core temperature is running high, Alarm=true and Amber Led is ON, As a result the fans are running high in speed in a #PA3220

----Thermal----
Slot Description Alarm Degrees C Min C Max C
S1 Temperature: Qumran Switch Core True 77.00 -5

All other alarms are False.

We checked the environment. Checked physically for anything else that could obstruct the airflow - but there is nothing such.

The device when touched itself feels cold, but fans were heard running.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

Hello,

If you run "show system environmentals" in the CLI does it show all fans are active with no alarms? It sounds like you possibly have a fan failure.

If you run through these two documents does it indicate what the root cause is?
