Dear Friends,

We have a customer who created one security policy and in that security policy he added only firewall and Panorama IP as source IP address.

Issue is that, when we are looking at the traffic logs then in that logs traffic of different source IP is also showing in that security policy which is not allowed in that policy apart from Firewall and Panorama IP

Please help me in addressing the issue

Model:- PAN-PA-1410

Software version:-11.0.4-h1

Regards,

Chandrashekhar

How did customer configured source IPs?

Here is one scenario that my customer misconfigured.

- create address object, let say 192.168.1.1 in 24 bit network, with 192.168.1.1/24

- select this object in security policy

=> this results source address in security policy is 192.168.1.0/24 internally.

Is he/she configure source address with 32bit mask or no mask (= 32bit)?
