URL Filtering - Predefined Category URL Listing

I would like to get a listing of the URLs in each predefined URL category, preferably via API.

Doing basic research, there does not seem to be a way to get a comprehensive list either through the UI or api.

Any guidance here would very much be appreciated.

That list does not exist on the NGFW. It has to do a cloud lookup for each URL.

Could you tell us the reason for your request? For example, BrightCloud has categorized 43 billion URLs, and more are categorized daily. https://www.brightcloud.com/threat-intelligence-services/web-classification-and-reputation

PANW does have a web site where you can test a URL to determine the categories. https://urlfiltering.paloaltonetworks.com/ That URL is brought up when you click in the GUI. You can also test in the CLI. https://knowledgebase.paloaltonetworks.com/KCSArticleDetail?id=kA10g000000ClQcCAK

Yes, 43B is a lot to handle and I could understand protecting the proprietary aspect as well (really had not thought through the logistics of managing the volume).

Anyway, yes, we will be proceeding with the automation using approach you mentioned (query by url).
