I shared your feedback with the team managing the preferred release page. Moving forward, you can visit the release notes section to find all the available versions along with their known and addressed issues.

The change to the Support PAN-OS Software Release Guidance

are useless for anyone not on the preferred release. I dont need to know what the current preferred release is. i can get that on the PAN in the software section and setting a checkmark How do we get back the complete list of releases including Hot fixes and new releases. due to issues that were resolved with PANOS 11.2.4 what do i do now.

Bottom line the changes to Support PAN-OS Software Release Guidance on Jan 10 suck.

you might as well remove the word guidance and put in the word preferred. or just delete it all together. i get the emails with the readme in it. there is no guidance in it anymore, it used to be all releases with a brief list of issues visually listed. now is useless.

Unfortunately Palo release notes are no help because different fixes are all scrambled together under different PANOS versions.

For example who can explain why should I care upgrading from 11.1.8 to 11.1.9 about issue that occurred in 10.1.14? 🙄

How does this fix relate to 11.1.x branch?

This is still useless unless you are a Newbie to palo alto or an incompetent admin

This protects them from seeing options the experienced users use for diagnosis of specific issues.

Plus the security releases are not preferred immediately and not on the list opening your customers to vulnerabilities.

It also cuts down on the feedback on the new releases that are not preferred.

We dont have time to read the 27 gazillion readme's all day long

I used the old prefered to target those readme.

the new prefered is STILL USELESS
