      <title>Upgrade path question</title>
      <link>https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/general-topics/upgrade-path-question/m-p/1222452#M123472</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;We have a second Palo Alto that we want to upgrade and then use as a High Availability device to work with our current operational firewall. It had been used before, but is currently offline.&amp;nbsp; I was following the upgrade path from 9.0.13 to 10.2.13-h4 (latest version I could find for the 10.2.* family).&amp;nbsp; I was experimenting to see what worked during the upgrade process.&amp;nbsp; I downloaded and installed 9.1.0 and then downloaded and installed 10.0.0 without installing the highest 9.1.* version before installing 10.0.0.&amp;nbsp; Since then, the upgrades to 10.1 and 10.2 were successful.&amp;nbsp; My question is: will there be a gap or any missing functionality due to me skipping the highest 9.1.* install?&amp;nbsp; Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
