Hi community,

I have an issue where system log shows severity high for an event:

tls-X509-validation-failed

and the description:

Palo Alto PublicCloud Server certificate validation failed

Dest Addr: sg.wildfire.paloaltonetworks.com

Reason: unable to get local issuer certificate

Palo Alto PublicCloud Server certificate validation failed

Dest Addr: sg.wildfire.paloaltonetworks.com

Reason: self signed certificate in certificate chain

I tried to use the following commands and it does resolve the issue:

> debug software restart process device-server
> debug software restart process management-server

However, I'm not so sure what is the root cause of this issue to happen and why these commands resolved the issue. Can someone highlight me on this?

Hi @SyafiqBharudin ,

Could be a problem in the backend.

I've seen these errors happen also when there was a WildFire incident:

https://status.paloaltonetworks.com/incidents/kcrbk5d8s1vl

Kind regards,

-Kim.
