Can someone please help clear up some conflicting info I am getting. I have Panorama managing on-prem firewalls and cloud firewalls. When I purchase credits for my cloud firewalls, I would think it is not necessary to check the Panorama Management box below, considering I already am licensed for Panorama. I'm being told I should check this option. It doesn't make sense to me

Hi @securehops,

No. You don't need to select any of the "Management Options", if you already have Panorama deployed and licensed.

Central management or logging does not require additional license or subscription. So it is not required when you are calculating your Software NGFW credits.

You should select Panorama (or Statra) only if you plan to deploy freshly new Panorama. Those options are primarily targeting someone who is about to deploy completely new solution with central management/logging and firewall. In your case you don't need any of those.

I figured as much, but thought I was going crazy. The partners should really know these things instead of trying to get customers to waste money.
