Hey,

I was wondering if the PA-1420 model had physical alarm contacts or done through ethernet.

Also by looking at the front panel in the datasheet only, I see a USB-C? Can I surmise that this is where the power supply can connect to the firewall?

Also, you see some issues under the Monitor and system logs.

No, you cannot assume that the USB-C (if present visually on the front) is the power supply connector. Usually, a USB port on the front is more likely for console access or diagnostic/maintenance functions, not the main AC power input.

The PA-1420 doesn’t have physical alarm or dry-contact inputs, all alarms are handled over the network using SNMP, syslog, email or Panorama. The front USB-style port is just a micro-USB console port, the firewall is powered only through the rear AC/DC inputs.
