I have set up a Palo Alto Home Lab based on the following article using a Palo PA-220 instead.

It is working well; however, I can't figure out how you set up the Piggyback to the management interface which for me is 192.168.1.10

I have set up an Interface Mgmt profile, included permitted addresses and assigned the profile to the VLAN Interface with is using address 192.168.1.254/24

I don't know where I went wrong or what I missed.

Do I need to set up routes between the interface mgmt and on the interfaces?

Any help appreciated.

ah ok. worked it out. hardware not software issue.
