Hi community,

I'm trying to set up a PA-VM KVM lab in GNS3 on a native Ubuntu 26.04 host and running into an issue, Hoping someone with GNS3 + KVM experience can point me in the right direction.

---

ENVIRONMENT
- Host: Ubuntu 26.04 LTS bare metal (dual-boot, not a VM)
- QEMU version: 10.2.1 (Debian 1:10.2.1+ds-1ubuntu3.1)
- GNS3 version: 2.2.59
- KVM confirmed available: /dev/kvm exists, kvm-ok passes
- GNS3 template settings: 2 vCPUs, 4500MB RAM, virtio-net-pci, -cpu host in advanced options

---

ISSUE — Official PA-VM-KVM-10.2.5 eval image: termination loop

1. Boot successfully
2. Present a login prompt
3. Accept admin/admin after 4-5 failed attempts
4. Force a password change
5. Immediately halt with 'Stopping PAN Software'
6. Repeat this exact sequence on every restart

How do I get around this?

---

Any guidance appreciated, especially:
- Whether a license is required before PA-VM management plane fully initializes
- Recommended QEMU flags for PA-VM on QEMU 10.x
- Whether anyone has a working GNS3 appliance template for PA-VM-KVM-10.2.5

Thanks in advance.
