Dear All,

If I have two groups of users, one with more restrictive access to the internet via URL Filtering than the other.

If the more restrictive group access the internet and receive a block page as their policies do not allow access to that resource. I would like the possibility for a user that is in the less restrictive group to authentication on their behalf and then the user can access that page.

I would like to apply this scenario in a number of circumstances like a time block / URL Filtering etc.

Thanks for your help.

Jaggie

if the user will reauthenticate after block page, why don't that user re-login with less restrictive user ?

The feature you need maybe can be done with extra override function on future panos versions.

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

I am not sure that I understand your first remark. To give you a concrete example, imagine that a student is logged on in a lesson and they visit a site that is blocked. I would like the teacher to be available to override the block for the student for a temporary period.

Thanks

Now I understand it better. That will be a good feature request then. You need a function like disabling global protect for a periodic time(ticket function),but for url filtering.
