Done, but still doesn't work. I've checked both IE and Java are 64 bit, and I've done all you suggested...

I have no idea about which the problem could be...

This is the checklist:

64 bit java installed

64 bit browser

VPN Client 1.2 is downloaded to the firewall

No AV is blocking the install

Verify the user has ADMIN rights to the machine (Win7 has UAC enabled by default "user access control")

Do not RDP to the client and then attempt an install

If all of this fails you can try to extract the MSI file from the firewall (Instructions are on this forum) and install as administrator.

If none of this resolves your problem you will need to open a case with support. Support will want to look at the logs for the Netconnect SW.

Steve Krall

These operating systems also include a 64-bit Internet Explorer browser, however using it is optional and it must be explicitly selected to view web pages. Note that because some web content may not work properly in a 64-bit browser, we recommend using the default 32-bit browser and downloading 32-bit Java.

VERIFY BROWSER

Follow the steps to verify whether you are using a 32-bit or 64-bit browser.

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

Click on the item below that represents your set up:

32-bit browser, you need to download 32-bit Java (recommended)

64-bit browser, you need to download 64-bit Java

Both 32-bit and 64-bit browsers, you need to download both 32-bit and 64-bit Java, respectively

Verify if you are using 32-bit or 64-bit browser

Internet Explorer

Launch Internet Explorer browser.

Click on the Help tab at the top.

Select About Internet Explorer which will bring up an information window.

If version of IE displays 64-bit Edition, then it is 64-bit IE, otherwise it is a 32-bit browser.

Firefox

To determine whether you are running on a 64-bit version of Firefox, use either of these methods.

Check the About Firefox panel

Type in the browser address about:support

If you running 64-bit Firefox, it may be indicated as 64-bit (e.g., Win64); otherwise it is a 32-bit version of Firefox.

Please note that 64-bit Java is presented as a download option automatically for 64-bit Internet Explorer and 64-bit Firefox Windows users.

Java for 32-bit browsers

Users should download 32-bit Java software, if they are using 32-bit browser on their 64-bit Windows.
