    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I traceroute with the source ip of my private internal interface to the host that my user-id app is located it works.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I just do a traceroute host to the host that my user-id is located on it fails.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I put a static host route in the VR pointing out my private internal interface and it still fails if I don't source the interface in the trace.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;By default the traceroute and ping (w/o the source definition) commands reference the management interface. You do need to specify the interface source IP in that command to refer to a particular interface otherwise the management interface is implied.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is expected behavior&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This does not mean that the management interface participates in routing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
