Custom App for local Proxy

Hi community.

Is there an option to setup a custom app for a locally installed proxy. The idea is to distinguish if the local proxy or a proxy somewhere is used. App override is not a valid solution because of lose all the Content-ID features.

Hello Markus,

If you configure a custom Application for any specific reason. The signature would not be existed in PAN App-ID database. That's the common reason to skip layer 7 inspection.

You may also want to submit your application to PA to request an official app-id be added to the system. This is not a guarantee but would at least put you on the list of open requests.
