    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Roh,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you set the interface on PA to Layer2 mode, the PA will pass BPDU's it receives to other L2 interface. PA does not take part in spanning tree protocol and cannot be root bridge since it does not participate in SPT.
