URL FILTERING LOG

Hi,

I am trying to configure url filtering, I would like to forward blocked url site logs to be emailed to certain group of

people instantly.

Is it possible to do with our present appliance PA-2050 with PAN OS 3.1.

Yes, you can do this.

Simply, configure a log forwarding profile under device-log destinations-email.Then go to the policies tab. Find all of the policies that you have added a url filtering profile to that blocks urls. Then click on options on those policies, select "new" next to the drop for the log forwarding profile. Then type in a name for the log forwarding profile and select the drop down under "email" and choose the log destination that you previously configured.

Also FYI, you can also create a log forwarding profile under objects-log forwarding. Then you can just append it to any policy that you like.
