I have gone in to Device --&amp;gt; Alarms and set security violations threshold to 1 and the time period to 3600. However, I do not get any alarms. How does this work exactly. I can set a "security violations threshod", but what exactly makes up a security violation? &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;According to the Admin Guide:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"Security Policy Limits An alarm is generated&lt;STRONG&gt; if a particular IP address or port hits a deny rule the&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;number of times specified&lt;/STRONG&gt; in the&lt;EM&gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Security Violations Threshold&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt; setting within&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the period (seconds) specified in the Security Violations Time Period setting."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have the Alarms Enabled for the CLI or Web?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
