Custom reports using different log archive

Hi all,

we are trying to create a custom report in which we want to include fields that belongs to, for exemple, the URL log database and wanted to add a field that is contained at the traffic log (bytes, for example).

Is it possible?

Hi...Custom report will only access one log database at a time and have access to all log fields within that single database. You cannot pull field from another log database. What report are you trying to produce? Thanks.

Hi,

the fields our customer is interested to be included at the report include:

- user

- url

- destination ip address

- transferred bytes

- category

first three and fifth fields belongs to a database and the fourth field is not included in the same database.

Should it be possible to make that report with an out-of-the-box reporting solution? if yes, do you know which one?

You may want to check out Sawmill Reporter and see if they can produce that report by coorrelating the traffic and URL logs.

Also, have you tried the User Activity Report (UAR) and see if that may meet the needs? The UAR has bytes in its report. Thanks.
