Hello to all, I am trying to block gmail web messenger in a VW setup, I already configured SSL decryption so I am able to block facebook chat and posting even in https, but I am unable to block gmail web chat, I already checked this article:

But still doesn´t work, any help will be appreciated

What does your traffic log in the PA box tells you regarding identified appid?

The PA does not have an application signature for gmail web messenger, but it does have a signature for gmail-chat and gmail-video-chat. So depending on what the PA actually identifies the traffic as, is what you should add to your policy to be blocked.

Hello,

Note that Gmail chat (googleTalk) uses jabber and/or classic HTTPs connections. Make sure to use SSL decryption so it can be correctly identified.
