User ID dissappears

On the monitor window I can see that a large number of our users are showing their AD "user". However, when I filter by the IP, I am finding that a "user" will be associated with an IP and all of the sudden the "user" dissapears even though the traffic continues from that IP.

After finding this issue, I increased the User id timout value to 36 hours on the user-id client (it wasn't enabled). Our DHCP is set for 8 days.

Any thought on this would be appreciated.

Hi...On the User-ID agent, I recommend setting the 'User Identification Timeout (min)' to be near your DHCP lease time. This would be ~11000 minutes, nearly 8 days.
