GlobalProtect - Force client connection

Hello everybody,

I've configured GlobalProtect and everything seems works good.

One thing is not clear for me.

If a domain user has the agent on his laptop and he's outside, is there a metod for not avoid the agent?

In my test if the user write a wrongh password the agent don't establish the connection and the user can surf internet avoiding corporate policies.

Anyone with the same problem?

Daniele,

you could enable Single Sign On in the client configuration on your GlobalProtect portal and create an authentication profile tied into your Active Directory through LDAP for your portal and the gateway. That way, GlobalProtect Agent will automatically pick up the correct user credentials and successfully authenticate to the portal. This is completely transparent for the user and the user isn't even prompted for a username or password.
