Hello team.

on the firmware 4.0.1, we have botnet monitoring function.

my question is to utilize the botnet feature, do I need to buy the URL filtering license and update it to up-to-date?

Hi BH Lee,

For the Botnet function to work in it's entirity you will need an up to date URL definition. There are other parameters used, which allows you to ignore URL information - but this could be key to completing the picture.

So it is possible to run without the URL license, but you may miss some detail and accuracy
