Thanks for the question.

According to the Software Requirements for the PAN Agent page located here:

https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-1242

It states:

PANOS 2.0.0 and above.

The user identification agent requires the following:

Software:

Windows 2003 Server 32 bit

Windows 2003 Server 64 bit

Windows XP

Windows Vista 32 bit

Windows Vista 64 bit

Windows 2008 Server 32 bit

Windows 2008 Server 64 bit

Hardware:

Any PC or server with a minimum 2.4GHz CPU, minimum 1GB of memory and minimum available hard drive space of 100MB.

Also if you are lookng for more specific requirements for the install:

Download the version for your directory system e.g. Active Directory:

You need an account in your directory system, that account then needs read access to domain controller security logs fulll access to \program files\PAN UserID folder allow logon as a service and access to registry HKLM\software\User ID folder
