For the replacement test,

I had set the spare SSD in the PA-5000,

and some logs was written on SSD.

Could you tell me how to format of SSD?

Hello,

You do not need to format the ssd that comes with the palo alto. Once you power down the device and then reinstall the ssd in another pa device, it automatically reformats the ssd.

Hi,

If you want to reset to factory default, you can restart the machine, press "m" and choose PAN-OS(Maint) to go to maintenance mode, choose factory reset.
