Hi,

Given a scenario when both HA configured firewalls' license have expired, will my active firewall still fails over to passive firewall in the event of primary firewall failure?

Hi,

HA will provide you an optimum network performance without having a single point of failure. So, it's a pure architectural behavior and not depends on your license. If your device license has been expired, then you won't be able to use respective licensed features i.e AV, GP, URL filtering ect.

Sure, there is no HA licence 🙂 it works all time.
