Dear All.

Iam asking if there is a way to access the management page on another interface with Vwire.

In a Vwire setup if you need Manage firewall using an interface other than the Default Managment Interface,a separate Layer 3 interface must be configured.

since there is no ip address associated in vwire mode with an interface. It will not be possible to access management on the vwire ports.As Nadir mentioned you will have to burn a port and configure it as Layer 3 in order to access it on dataplane ports instead on management port.

Didnt there exist a way to create a subinterface within the VWIRE setup to accomplish the same effect without burning a third physical interface?
