security policy rule index number

Hi All

In PANOS 3.1.x, i can see the security policy index unmber in the GUI, however i can't see it after upgrade panos to 4.0.9 no matter using GUI or CLI.

Is there any way to find secutiry policy index number?

Joy...the row number for security rule was removed in 4.0 so you're seeing the expected result. You can view the total number of rows at the lower right corner in the GUI.

Thanks for your answer,so i can not see any output about it when i want to use any debug for it in PANOS 4.0 or later ?

You can use the rule name and it will be in the log, reports, etc.
