PAN-OS 5.0.0 Upgrade failed

Upgraded a box from PAN-OS 4.1.10 to PAN-OS 5.0.0. During installation was prompted to reboot, chose reboot. The device did not come back online. Consoled into management port sees the following messages loop over and over:

This was done on a 5020. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated; trying to find answers here on Palo Alto's site but not having any luck searching for the error messages received above.

When the device is booting up the device prompts you to "press 'm' to enter maintenance mode " . Hit m and enter maintenance mode. In the maintenance mode try to do a factory reset to 5.0.0 and reboot. If that is not possible please contact support.

Note however that you will lose logs if you do factory reset. So if the logs needs to be saved its better to first contact the support in order to save them and them perform a factory reset.
