Hello,

Cause untagged sub-interface does not support in OSPF routing from v4.1.5. If I have that configuration usage in firmware before v4.1.5 (v4.1.1). What is the right way to configure OSPF area interface, if I want to keep IP address(subnet) of that sub-interface to be re-distributed in OSPF routing table?

Now, I use Loopback sub-inteface instead, cause loopback interface can only add one IP per interface(x.x.x.x/32), if my previous untagged sub-interface has subnet-mask is 24, I need to add 254 loopback sub-interfaces. Is it correct?

Thanks,

Adisorn

Hello, though the option to enable OSPF and RIP on untagged subinterface was being allowed in the web interface in PAN-OS versions 4.1.0 through 4.1.4 this is not supported in PAN-OS 4.1.x. Use of OSPF on untagged interfaces is not support even if configurable in the WebUI in earlier versions of PAN-OS 4.1.
