Just upgraded from NetConnect to GlobalProtect when we upgraded to 4.1.2 and on OSX I don't see a way to remove the GlobalProtect icon from the OSX menu bar. I understand if it needs to be there when using GlobalProtect, but I only use it ocasionaly and would prefer not to have it displayed all the time.

This kind of funtionality that you are asking for would be considered to be a "Feature request". And in order to request this it would be recommended to contact your Reseller and/or SE, and ask for this feature to be added.

Kind Regards.

Ok, as a work around I uninstalled the GlobalProtect client and configured a IPSEC VPN the same way as was documented for iOS devices and 4.1.x. Worked perfect and no entry in the menu bar.
