500-652 Antivirus Version Makes our PAN unavailable

Guys,

Has anybody faced a problem regarding the latest AV version 500-652 as after installation our firewall behaves strangely (Commit failed - Down and up again - AV version mismatch)

We have called support and they have told us that there is a process called tdb_compile that needs to be run after installing this AV version and this process consumes the management CPU badly

I don't know how much time this process needs to be run as now it is running for 20 hours

If anybody faced same problems with this version or have seen this process running please share

The threat database compile will happen as part of all AV installs.

If your system has had the tdb_compile process running for 20 hours then there is a problem and you should open a support case. Typically this process will take 5-10 minutes to compile the threat database.
