What is PAN 6.0 performance improvementon PA-4000 series?

What is the performance improvements of PAN 6.0 on PA-4000 series? I'm looking to find out what type of improvement in commit times and other management related performances.

Hello Jtravlos,

A Commit Function Optimization feature has been implemented on PAN OS 6.0 across all platforms. This feature addresses both commit time improvements as well as the ability to actively edit the running configuration when commit operations are in progress.

Below mentioned enhancement has been added for management:

1. SNMP Monitoring Extensions

2. Hostname in Syslog Header

3. Syslog over TCP and SSL

4. Disable Predefined Reports

There are many more features has been introduced in 6.0. Please find below document for the same.
