Hello Satish

this might be the answer to this issue

https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-3755

Issue

On the Active:Secondary unit of an Active/Active High Availability (HA) deployment, the User-ID Agents show as "red", indicating they are not connected.

Resolution

The Active:Secondary will always show as red unless it becomes the Active:Primary. This is intentional, and is designed to both alleviate load from the User-ID Agent and to ensure user IDs are never out of sync. The user-ip mappings are synced from the Active:Primary firewall so that both firewalls are up to date.

thank you

Victor.

HA Active primary it working fine but secondary is not working. if primary goes down secondary work as a active, its also working fine. but it will not work when the primary will in working mode. Pan OS 5.0.11 it was working fine for both condition. but after pan os 6.0.1 its not working. please suggest

Regards

Satish

If this worked in PanOS 5 and not after the upgrade, I would open a ticket and get a bug id assigned to the issue. You might also check the release notes for PanOS versions after 6.0.1 to see if it is already listed as a resolved issue in future releases.

Does it actually affect operations during failover since the connection works when the secondary becomes active?
