You acutally should be able to do a Destination NAT with subnets but the Original Packet Destination Subnet would need to be the exact same subnet in the Destination Translated Packet Subnet. So for example if you have the Original Packet Destination Address subnet as a /24, the translated packet Destination address would need to be a /24. This would make each address have a one to one, which is required for the Destination NAT translation.

I have a PA-500 running PANOS v4.1.10. Is it possible to configure a single destination NAT rule that translates the address for any given /24 subnet on to the equivalent address in the destination /24 address; e.g. Original Packet Dest: 192.168.50.X -> Translated Packet Dest 172.16.29.X

Hello,

The destination NAT is like static NAT, i.e. One to One translation. It looks like you're trying to do many to many, which is not possible by destination nat.

Thanks,

Aditi

Hi...You may want to try a static source NAT rule and make it bi-directional. Original source IP: 172.16.29.0/24 ==> Translated Packet Dest: 192.168.50.0/24 bi-directional. I believe this will give you the dest NAT if you're willing to accept that the NAT will be bidirectional.

Thanks.
