For HA to work both the devices has to be of same exact model. This is required because the traffic ratings/capacities and interfaces of different models differ, so when a fail over happens the devices can not handle the traffic load properly. And also the software features supported by Palo alto firewalls also differ across various platforms, so its not possible to sync the configurations between different models. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sandeep T&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
