I have a host directly cabled to an interface on the PA. I am having issues with internet connectivity on this host. I wonder if a crossover cable is required to cable direct rather than traversing a switch first?

Thanks,

Daniel

Crossover cable isn't nessasary, but good quality cable is always a good choice.

please log on Your PAN device using SSH and give us a resault of following commands:

show interface hardware

show interface ethernet1/1 <<this is example, please here interfece where is this host connected

maybe problem is with half duplex or other errors on phisical level.

Regards

SLawek
