topic Facebook videos working again? in General Topics

So I've set URL filtering to block on the "streaming-media" category which has successfully blocked Facebook videos for months. This week, the videos started working again and it seems it's because they're using a different CDN domain (or multiple ones) -- is it better to block by the App-ID "facebook-video" instead of URL filtering?

Hello,

I would say the 'belt and suspenders' way works better than the just one, just my opionion. But it'll probably catch more and be more dynamic, but then could lead to more false positives.

https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/Configuration-Articles/How-to-Create-an-Application-Filter-to-Block-High-Risk/ta-p/62794

Hope this helps!
