Hi All,

Is it possible to graph the application bandwidth over time using something like SNMP? Essentailly I am looking for your typical Bandwidth graph that you normally see with SNMP but I would like to graph it for just an application for example Facebook.

I know you can do with live with the QOS features but I would like to have this graphed over weeks or maybe months. Does anyone know if we have MIB's that will extract these values or can we only do total bandwidth through the interface.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't see anythin like this in the MIBs. But you can load these into your mgmt system and see what you can get.

https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/Documentation-Articles/Enterprise-SNMP-MIB-6-1/ta-p/56387

https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/Documentation-Articles/Enterprise-SNMP-MIB-7-0/ta-p/55095

Hi!

You should be able to collect this kind of information through netflow or possibly by exporting traffic logs to a syslog server and then graphing out the bytecounts per application

https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/Configuration-Articles/How-to-Configure-Netflow-Server-Profile-and-Assign-to-Interface/ta-p/57367

https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/Configuration-Articles/How-to-Forward-Traffic-Logs-to-Syslog-Server/ta-p/62154

my 2 cents

regards
Tom
