    <description>&lt;P&gt;Very good point. I do not manage solarwinds so I guess it is based on what they want to see. I can see quite a lot. I added a trap using version v2c but I havent' added any MIB's or anything so I would suppose it is&amp;nbsp; a very limited infomation&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;That kind of depends what information is useful to you&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The syslog servers will most likely be receiving traffic/threat related logs and possibly some system logs (alarms, admin logins, ...).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;SNMP would provide you with system metrics including temperature, fan speeds, cpu usage, interface counters etc. and is more commonly used to graph out system performance. to keep an eye on your cpu gauge or bandwidth traversing the firewall&lt;/P&gt;
