I see lots of posts of how to install and use the migration tool, but can someone please provide steps on how to install it properly.

The migration tool is esentially a VM (comes from PA themself) you spin it up and point it to the FW.

As to how to use it , that is diffrent question

Please take a look in the 'Migration' board there's plenty of discussions and articles regarding the tool and it's use

You'd actually now use the Expedition tool, which has its own forum HERE which goes into everything you could possibly want. The tool is available as a tar.gz file, which once unpacked and uncompressed will present you with the vmx file you require.
